A Return Trip to EDN III - LP2 Update

Lost Planet 2 might just be my most anticipated game of 2010. No wait, check that...Super Street Fighter IV is. No wait. AHH! I think my head is about to explode! Lets just leave it at 2010 will see the release of "two" extremely high profile games that just so happen to be my most anticipated. There, that was better. Seeing as though we have primarily been all about SSFIV as of late I figured it was time to share the limelight and showcase Lost Planet 2.

Lost Planet 2
is an upcoming third-person shooter video game developed and published by Capcom. The game is the sequel to Lost Planet: Extreme Condition which is also made by Capcom, taking place ten years after the events of the first game, on the same fictional planet. The game is being developed for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Microsoft Windows. Originally set to be released in early 2010, Capcom delayed the game to May 18, 2010 in North America and Europe and May 20, 2010 for Japan.

With the recent news Capcom dropped on us of Dom and Marcus Phoenix from the Gears of War series making an appearance in LP2 (and offering them as playable characters) the hype-o-meter has officially gone off the rector-scale. Offering more of an "arcade style" experience, LP2 looks to dish out a clean helping of fan-service as well as newly implemented features such as a more robust online multiplayer experience, new weaponry and even more Mech's for you to ride around in.

Recently, the good people over at Gamespot did a great overview of LP2. I figured I would re-post it here on Warp. Enjoy!
