While I'll give you props for this second post, I still disagree with your reasoning.

I don't think Guinsoo created LoL to replace DotA. Instead, he more or less made it to expand upon it. While it might have the same framework as an attack-defend map, it's relatively different, and outside the boundaries of the typical WC3 map.

Sure, HoN is basically a copy of DotA, with a few improvements, but I don't think that's what a lot of people are looking for. DotA has been out for several years, and in my opinion, it's time for something new. Time to break out of the usual, out of the norm, to experience something new, while sticking to the same idea.

Nice article. You lay it out pretty clearly, and I agree as a LOL fanboy ;p I prefer LOL for the reasons you are shakey on it.

You really should give it a go some more with camera unlocked though if you have some time. why not? It's really fun.
